Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Mental Well-being and End-of-Life Communication in the School of English (Ref.: 503865), to commence on September 1, 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter, for a period of two years. This appointment is under the University Research Committee’s Post-doctoral Fellow Scheme. The appointee will be affiliated with Research and Impact Initiative for Communication in Healthcare (HKU RIICH).
Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. degree in relevant fields ((socio)linguistics, discourse analysis, conversation analysis) by the time of appointment, and preferably previous background or formal training in psychology. The successful candidate should also possess native or near-native fluency in English. Information about the School can be obtained at http://english.hku.hk.
