Research Assistant I/Research Assistant II/Student Research Assistant (several posts) in the School of English (Ref.: 20241212) (to commence on January 2, 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter, for a period of 3 months with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or be a final-year undergraduate student in the Digital Humanities, English Studies, Chinese Language and Literature, Translation, General Linguistics, Creative Industries or a relevant/cognate discipline in the Social Sciences, preferably with research experience. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin). The appointee(s) will work for a research project related to language in society and in digital/social media. Enquiries about the duties of the post can be directed to Professor T.K.
