Jennifer Gresham received her B.A. and M.A. in English literature from the University of Toronto and completed her PhD on “Forms and Functions of Genre in Transnational Popular Culture” on a Hong Kong PhD Fellowship at the University of Hong Kong in 2018. Her research interests include transnational genre and processes of genrification; cultures of taste, cult fandom and subcultural taste formations; the effects of media convergence, remediation, and mediatisation on popular culture; transnationalism and cross-cultural theory; film and television; and, more recently, world Modernism and world literatures.
