Jasper Wu is a final year PhD researcher at the National University of Singapore. His research focuses on interactions between regulative language practices and societal development. At present he is investigating the relation between language policy and spatial production. Jasper Wu’s recent publications include articles in Language in Society (in press), Language Sciences, Linguistic Landscapes and Pragmatics and Society. He is also a research member of the HKU Research and Impact Initiative on Communication on Healthcare (HKU RIICH), focusing on topics at the intersection between language policy, mental health and workplace interactions.
