Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the School of English (Ref.: 530781) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

 

The Role
The appointee will provide a full spectrum of administrative and financial support including, but not limited to budgeting, procurement, maintenance of database and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications and Qualities

  • A good Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline;
  • Preferably with 3 years of relevant work experience, while fresh graduates will also be considered;
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, English and Putonghua;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Highly IT literate (e.g., proficiency in Microsoft Office);
  • Excellent organization skills and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize urgent tasks;
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to work diligently, efficiently and meticulously without close supervision and under pressure;
  • A good team player who can collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders of the University;
  • Experience with Oracle Financials is a plus. 
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
