The School of English invites you to join us for two Postgraduate Information Workshops on “Applying for Postgraduate Programmes”, featuring a range of programmes available to applicants. We welcome HKU students and other international students interested in our programmes.

Information Workshop 1:
Master of Arts in English Studies (MAES), MPhil, and PhD

November 3, 2021 (Wednesday)

4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (Hong Kong time)

Speakers: Dr. Haewon Hwang, Dr. Agnes Kang and Dr. Jessica Valdez

The first information session will focus on the MAES, MPhil and PhD degrees.

  • What are the differences between these degrees?
  • How do I apply for postgraduate studies in Hong Kong and internationally?
  • How do I find a supervisor?
  • How do I write a research proposal?
  • Can I apply for financial aid or scholarships?

Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in English (MFA), and Master of Arts in Creative Communications (MACC)
