The COMET Conference began in 2003 at Cardiff University (Wales, UK). Following its initial success, it has been established as an interdisciplinary and international event.
The conference aims to bring together scholars from different disciplinary backgrounds involving various healthcare specialties and the human and social sciences. COMET is closely linked with Communication & Medicine, a quarterly journal (Equinox, London) with a view of bringing leading research to a wider readership.
