Please respond to *one* of the following questions in 1-2 pages (double spaced; approx. 300 words).
  1. Analyze the kitchen of Laura Petrie. What does it tell you about her life and about what role women are supposed to play?

  2. Analyze how Rob Petrie is dressed. What does it tell you about his life as a husband? How does his job compare to that of Ralph Kramden from The Honeymooners?

  3. Compare Laura's kitchen to that of Alice Kramden from The Honeymooners. How are their lives different and how are they similar?
    (Or, compare Rob to Ralph.)

  4. Why is there a TV in the bedroom of the Petrie household? Consider the implications of this.
